Remember the Swedish ban The Cardigans, who released the song Lovefool in 1996? I know…I’m sure you miss the 90’s as much as I do! Here’s the original music video:

Wasn’t that a blast from the past? Alright, well it just so turns out there’s a band from Berkeley called The Morning Benders and they’ve done quite a gentle and refreshing cover of the song. Dig it:

The icing on the cake: They’re playing a New Year’s Eve show in San Francisco at the Bottom of the Hill… not a bad option, if I do say so myself!
